We're in search of an energetic, knowledgeable, and charismatic Head Coach to join our F45 NYC family, specifically for our Lincoln Square location. F45 Head Coaches are pivotal members of our multi-unit franchise team, serving as the welcoming face of our studios. They collaborate closely with our franchise's corporate team and other Head Coaches. As a F45 Head Coach, you will run 20-25 group training classes per week, manage and up-skill a team of part-time coaches, promote the F45 brand throughout our market area, and build a community that keeps our members coming back every day!
Compensation:
- $60,000 base salary per year
- Bonus potential of $750 per month based on percentage of monthly target achieved
- 6 days paid time off per year
- Studio laptop and phone
- Unlimited classes at our 3 NYC F45 locations (as well as our 2 NJ and 2 PA studios if you are out that way!)
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the studio's coaching team (including recruitment, training and up-skilling) using the F45 methodology
- Regularly assess and provide feedback to the team of part time coaches
- Participate in the monthly F45 HQ Athletics webinars
- Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with the coaching team to go over new F45 phases
- Ensure coaches are following opening and closing procedures
- Deliver a minimum of 20-25 classes per week
- Create an energetic environment and a culture of family within the studio
- Conduct in-person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial members
- Inspire members to fully utilize all F45 resources to achieve personal fitness goals
- Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained and expertly set up for each day's circuit
- Focus on membership acquisition and retention, including conducting referral/lead generation activities
- Assist the membership manager with membership sales
- Conduct studio tours
- Answering phone calls
Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

1-year minimum as a F45 coach (non negotiable)
- 3-year minimum experience as a personal trainer
- Must hold a current fitness certification from an F45-approved education entity, for example; ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association), or equivalent international organization
- Must have CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with members
- Solid knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology
- Motivated and passionate about health and fitness
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and afternoons
